Jewels of Nepal
I dont know what it is about Nepalese Quartz, but every time i work these dense, perfectly clear beauties the same thing happens… it renounces its original shape/structure and forges curves upon itself. Almost like it has been dealing with self image issues for centuries! I oblige.. besides, im just the hand providing a service! :) This particular stone knew exactly what it wanted and wasted no time getting it, the result is this magnificent piece. One ridge on the back was prime for a little flare, so as you can see – i have added 3 wee optic dishes! The front (should you decide that it is in fact the front) is balanced in an almost yin/yang curve. And if i may… its wonderful! :)
